2. What data we process and why
- Bookings: when you book with the CoverManager module you provide your name, phone, email, number of guests, date and time, and comments. We use them to manage your booking and notify you of any change. Legal basis: carrying out your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Enquiries and group proposals (WhatsApp, phone, email): we use the details you send us to reply. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in assisting you.
- Site security: to prevent abuse of the virtual assistant, a hash of the IP address is used for a limited time. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
3. Virtual assistant
The messages you type to the assistant are sent to a third-party artificial intelligence service (Google Gemini) to generate the reply. Do not enter personal, health or sensitive data in the chat. We do not store conversations on our server.
4. Retention
We keep data for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected (managing your booking or answering your enquiry) and afterwards, blocked, for the applicable legal periods.
5. Recipients and third parties
The following may process data on behalf of DESKARO or on their own account: CoverManager (bookings), Meta/WhatsApp (messaging), Google (virtual assistant and the map if you choose to load it), the web hosting provider and, if you use them, Waze, Apple Maps and Instagram. We do not sell your data. Some of these providers may be outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided by the GDPR.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@deskaro.es, stating which right you wish to exercise. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
